Promoting Collaboration and Innovation in Healthcare

A principal objective for the SC Grantmakers Network is to serve as a catalyst in promoting collaboration and innovation in addressing public health challenges and emerging threats.  Strategic goals include:

• Develop public policy and programs that deal with health.
• Serve as a voice in the community and source of education and research.
• Identify issues and ways to impact.
• Open up communication with state and federal elected officials about projects/programs affecting the health of SC residents.
• Build concrete evidence of successful projects/programs that can be used to build a case for state legislative future support.
• Build a relationship with the state and university agencies/organizations that could provide research information to help focus efforts in search of projects/programs.
