|
The Chapin Foundation has moved its offices....just right down the hall! The Board of Advisors made this decision in January 2010 to reduce the size of the office and reduce administrative overhead. The new office is more intimate and better organized space. During this time of funding changes, the Board felt it should be a leader in administrative management as the grantees are being encouraged to do the same. None of the contact information has changed which is an additional saving.Currently, The Chapin Foundation is providing limited Myrlte Beach grant support for agencies providing direct humanitarian support such as food, shelter and medical services to the community. The Board of Advisors hopes to return to greater community support in 2011. In the interim, The Chapin Foundation continues its direct support to the YMCA, public libraries and hospitals and the local regularly organized churches and their local missions (local charitable agencies) through collaborative efforts, strategic planning and as a resource to the professional leadership. |
